Freedom without privacy is rubbish. Why will
Nigerian mobile networks be in the habit of sending
unlimited spam messages without due consent or optin
from subscriber? MTN is the king and number #1 in this
dubious act. Imagine you expecting a more important SMS
message or credit alert from your bank account and you
later find out the anticipated to be was an annoying
message from your network asking you to subscribe for an
unwanted or related product / service.
Even though some of this annoying message might not
emanated from MTN itself, but the platform used of course
still routed from MTN server that got delivered to your
phone.
Most of these type of spam / promo messages are from
short code numbers like “33156”, “4100”, “10425” etc. This
is really bad marketing if you me because as a subscriber
is been tagged the king, he / her should at least optin to
such service / promo before bombarded with such
messages. Follow the procedure to disabled such annoying
message.
